Ms. Peggy Blum
Peggy Blum received her BS and MBA from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Her industry experience includes Carole Little, Calvin Klein and MGM Studios as well as SourcePlay LLC. She is the author of Circular Fashion, a forthcoming title on sustainable fashion from Lawrence King publishers.
Peggy has also taught in the fashion field since 1992 and is well regarded by her former colleagues and students for her passion for the industry and desire to share her expertise and knowledge with faculty and students. During her time as a fashion program administrator she was known for finding time to remain current in the fashion industry and develop and maintain business contacts.
Peggy comes to Texas State most recently from UT Austin and will be joining Prof Romo in co-leading the Careers and Industry Relations team.
