Meal Service
The Child Development Center participates in the Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) administered by the Department of Agriculture. A nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are prepared daily and served family style in the classroom.
Our director and cook, plan monthly menus that adhere to the nutritional guidelines set forth by the Department of Agriculture. Appropriate portions are measured based on the nutritional needs of each age group.
Parents/guardians must provide alternative meals for children unable to consume the meals on the CDC menu.
- The CDC is a nut free facility.
- To assist parents of children with dairy sensitivities, we identify items with cheese, cream or milk on our menu. In addition, we've included a list of foods with "hidden" milk or whey as part of the ingredients. Please see below.
