The Fashion Merchandising London/Paris Study Tour provides students with opportunities to experience a unique cultural view of the European fashion industry. London and Paris, both global fashion capitals, are full of the history of both the textile and apparel industries. This summer study abroad opportunity combines classroom knowledge with cultural experiences, and is a perfect option for students who are looking to expand their knowledge of the global fashion industry. Students will also make cultural and historical site visits. 4 nights in London - Guided tours of Harrods, Liberty's and Burberry, visit with fashion designer, Victoria & Albert Museum tour. Day trip to Bath and Eurostar London to Paris. 4 nights in Paris - Lecture at Trend Union in Paris, guided tour of the Louvre, and a couture visit to YSL or Pierre Cardin.
The program will provide students the opportunity to understand cross-cultural similarities and differences between the U.S. and European Fashion industries.

Past Study Abroad
The 2017 Scotland and London Study Tour took students for 2 weeks to the Heriot Watt School of Textiles and Design where they learned weaving and printing techniques and visted local textile factories. The last week focused on a tour of London with museums and historical costume exhibits.
