She is honored to have had the opportunity to work with and learn from underserved populations for over 20 years including adolescent parents and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault/abuse. She has nearly 10 years of applied research and program management experience. She is a 1.5 generation immigrant from Mexico who is passionate about promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice across academia and the community.
