Mohammad Ali

Sophia Hernandez
Sophia started working with the NUEVA project in Fall 2023. Sophia worked closely with Dr. Joni Charles to develop a cost analysis report. She participated in beta testing the NUEVA app and developed training resources for testing of the app. Sophia is pursuing a Master of Science in Human Nutrition with an expected graduation date of May 2025.
Chelsea Hopkins
Chelsea Hopkins worked with the NUEVA project as a student for her NUTR 4301 Career Exploration coursework. Chelsea was involved in throughout the process of older adult interviews for phase two of alpha testing. Chelsea also participated in data collection and created an ArcGIS map to optimize data related to community resources for older adults in Central Texas. Chelsea graduated from Texas State University in December 2023 with a Bachelors of Science in Human Nutrition.
Richard Knox
Richard started working with the NUEVA project in Summer 2023. He participated in data collection of community resources for seniors in Central Texas. Richard was involved in phase two of alpha testing of the NUEVA app and phase one of beta testing. Richard developed training and recruitment materials for app testing and has been in charge of updating the NUEVA website. He is pursuing a Master of Science in Human Nutrition with an expected graduation date of December 2025.
