The Master of Science program in Human Development and Family Sciences at Texas State University prepares students to address the needs of families and individuals across the lifespan. The 37-credit hour program is designed for students interested in research and applied careers. The program currently offers three tracks, Research in Family and Human Development, Program Administration & Evaluation and Child Life Specialist.
The Texas State University Dietetic Internship is a graduate-level, ACEND accredited program that includes over 1200 hours of supervised practice and four graduate courses, with a program concentration in pediatric nutrition. Program graduates receive a total of 18 hours of graduate credit, and are qualified to take the Registration Examination for Dietitians administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
