Ms. Janeen Perez-Barbosa

Janeen Perez-Barbosa is a Lecturer at Texas State University, joining in Spring 2025. She received her BA in Fashion Merchandising from California State University, Long Beach, and went on to receive her MBA from California State University, Monterey Bay. Janeen began working in the fashion industry as a Buyer and Allocation Analyst at companies such as ASICS America, Quiksilver, Tillys, and Wet Seal. Her diverse industry experience has allowed her to bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to her students.

Janeen began teaching in 2015 in the Fashion Merchandising Department at her alma mater, CSU Long Beach. In 2016 she began teaching at Saddleback Community College in Southern California. Janeen has a deep-rooted passion for teaching and enjoys inspiring her students to explore their potential and fully embrace learning.
